  • Idaho Falls Fire is hosting a free two-day training with author and Fire Chief Frank Viscuso, Step Up and Lead. It takes place March 16th and 17th at the Civic Auditorium. This will be a GREAT training, but please make sure you can attend before registering as seats are very limited.
    Registration is required
  • Idaho State University EMS Conference April 30th & May 1st
  • East Idaho Fire Chiefs Academy will be May 21st-23rd
  2. Completion of the living quarters above the district office is progressing.  We have our Certificate of Occupancy and will be purchasing furniture soon.  Please watch for a possible questionnaire as to how best utilize the quarters, volunteers and fulfilling our patrons needs.
  3. Wildland fire training will be coming up on the horizon soon. There will be some great learning opportunities to take advantage of.
  4. On that note, please take some time to go over your wildland gear and make sure everything is in order.  If you are in need of anything, please contact the district office.
  5. THANKS to all who answered the call for mutual aid to Madison Fire!  It was a great district turnout and they were thankful for the help.
  6. When we have a mutual aid call like that, I prefer it to be a district opportunity and not just limited to one station, as long as that is possible and expedient.  Please also remember that we can’t send everyone on a mutual aid call so we still have adequate coverage here.
