  • Softball practice starts Friday, July 15th and will be every Friday until the summer party. 6 PM at the city park. Contact Victor Gallegos with questions.
  • Monday, July 18th Station 1 will be holding a retirement party for Paul Bradley at 7 PM. Please come and thank him for all his years of service!
  • Wednesday, July 20th is the 10th anniversary of the Challenger Pallet fire. The owners have invited us to a BBQ that evening to say thank you. It will be held at Challenger Pallet, 24 N. 3210 E. Lewisville, at 7 PM if you would like to attend. Please contact 170 if you plan on attending so we can get a head count.
  • District summer party Saturday, August 6th at the Rigby City Park. Social hour starts at 4:30 PM, dinner around 6 PM. Come ready to play softball!


  • Thanks to everyone for all their hard work over the Fourth of July weekend! It certainly kept us on the run.
  • Check your bulletin boards for leadership postings! Station 1 Battalion Chief, Station 3 Lieutenant, and Tech Rescue team leader have all been posted. Qualifications are noted in the postings and internal applications can be picked up in the district office.
  • BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helps cover the extra events we have going on! I know sometimes the last thing you want to do with your free time is another fire coverage activity, but I, and our communities, really appreciate it! – Lisa
  • Welcome to Station 3’s “new guy” Kurt Sunada! He has been a great asset already and we all look forward to getting to know him better.
  • Mass casualty district drill will be happening the first Thursday in October. More details to come.
